Hon Zainab Gimba
Hon. Zainab Gimba was born on 25 December 1972 in Borno State. Hon. Zainab is a Second-term Member of the House of Representatives in the 10th National Assembly, representing the Abama / Ngala / Kala-Balge Federal Constituency of Borno State on the All Progressive Congress (APC) platform.
Hon. Zainab has been in the political environment for some time; within the period from 2011 to 2014, she served as the Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Youth Empowerment in Borno state. She also served as the Hon. Commissioner of Borno State Universal Basic Education Board from 2014 to 2015; afterwards, she was appointed the Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Water Resources in Borno State in 2015 and served until 2018.
During the 64th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) at Speke Resort Munyonyo, Kampala, in 2019, Hon. Zainab was elected vice president of the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarian (CWP) Africa region.
Hon. Zainab has a PhD in Public Administration and Policy Analysis.
